Our mission is to improve youth football by creating competitive teams and matching teams with others of similar ability.
It's a easy concept, and one the high schools have been doing since organized football started - separation of teams based on size and ability. Why should a team that will be 4A or 5A be in the same league as a 3A or even a 2A school? The answer is it shouldn't.
We advocate the creation of "A" and "B" teams for the larger schools which allows the quality of the games to improve because each "A" team is playing against other "A" teams as well as "B" against "B".
The practice in Southeastern Idaho is to try and divide the players so each team is "equal", how ludicrous is that? Why would you want the best players to be divided? Wouldn't it make more sense to follow the example of baseball, basketball and many other sports and place all participants on teams where their own skill level is matched by their teammates?
We think so!Our belief is that in order to improve our youth need to play in the spring, the fall, and participate in at least one camp in the summer
We also believe all of our coaches must be educated in order to keep our youth safe and for them to learn how to play correctly. One of the ways we accomplish this is through our association with the best amateur football program in the country: USA Football
All of our coaches are encouraged to join USA Football and utilize the resources available to them.
